Our location choice was obvious.
Anderson and his mom chose to come full circle by returning to the place where we first took their photos when he was three, Balboa Park.
We've done images regularly since that first session, always finding fun spots in their San Diego home town.
What a delight to capture so many stages of life for them, and how amazing to watch the young boy grow into such an amazing young man.
Congrats, Anderson! Graduation is just a new beginning!
Congrats to Dylan, Class of 2024! Graduation is just around the corner! I was so impressed with his confident yet easy going nature. It showed in the way he worked with me, his interactions with his mom, and the comfortable way he wore his suit (really, not many guys spend much time in a suit and it can be hard to feel like yourself in one).
At this time of year, it’s always nice to have images to choose from for graduation announcements, Mother’s Day gifts, and memories to frame. We did his senior pictures in the fall. It was part of his MCHS yearbook photo shoot that included not just the yearbook headshot, but also a selection of photos that can be used for these purposes. It was easy to be able to go back to his gallery and get these images ready to use. Mom was so grateful we had images of this stage of life ready and available!
Strolling through Balboa Park with Grace was like taking a mini vacation to Europe! We had so much fun meandering through the plazas and buildings. We even grabbed a cup of coffee while we enjoyed the park. Grace, I hope the real thing is in your future soon. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it fully!
Lily and I hit the beach with a determination to capture all the fun and celebration that finishing her senior year deserved!
Lily, you're the Class of 2023! Congrats! You did it! it's no small thing to make it through your high school career with a sense of achievement and resiliency, especially while navigating a pandemic! I'm so proud of you for growing physically, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually!
“And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”
